I've having such a hard time getting these and its frustrating because my chams love them. I used to get them from http://www.silkwormstore.co.uk but it doesn't always have stock, he recently sold me his last 20 of medium and gone already :o
same, says nothing about the UK but still sad to see this happen, that's why I'm very put off with wild caught animals labeled in pet stores thinking what did that poor creature endure to get to where it is now :(
Should be ok, I keep my chams in the same room, one at one end, the other at the other end, but my floor space is about 10 foot apart and do fine.
But like someone said depends on how chill your cham is, I also have 4 dogs that wonder the house and isn't even bothered lol
Was having a good night and decided to post some pics of my veiled in his new cage UNTIL someone sent a friend request on facebook, accepted it and this person commented on the photos and became a nasty piece of work, I don't cry that easily but REALLY upset me and removed my pictures...
Uriel was in a large reptibreeze cage since he was a baby and soon out grew it :D so put together his xlarge cage today, what do you think? :D
He wasn't very happy with me though that I had to move him, oh well, has more space now :p
Was gonna say, he's only 4 months, he won't have much colour yet, my panther who is now 5 years old was still showing brown at 6 months old, was a late bloomer. Chams also have resting colours such as brown and only REALLY colour up when excited or angry.
If his food is being digested i.e no...
Can I also say I agree with Zephalia, naming a cham after a evil terrorist seems rather amusing to you which I don't find funny and many new people come here as new owners and you are setting the WORST example of how not to behave with a chameleon.
I saw on your video and said people are...
Seriously NOT clever at all, no wonder your veiled is bad tempered, you deliberately grabbed his back, waved your hand in front of him, upsetting him but yet you jump when he lunged at you and then to top it off, put your panther right in his face, stressing both out!
I personally use Repashy Calcium Plus, it makes life SO much easier, its a everyday thing and has the right balance of vitamins, D3 and calcium without worrying of under dosing or overdosing :)
It does have a gecko on the tub but doesn't mean its just for them, safe for chams, many members here...
Agree on the vet part, no need to take a cham to the every 6 months are so if nothing has changed and he/she isn't sick, only stresses them out and probably wasting your money on a check up they don't need.
why is only have his feeders dusters with multivitamins? you didn't mention ANY calcium without D3 and any with D3 which isn't good. He can and will develop MBD without D3. Hope it wasn't a pet store that said "If you have UVB you don't need D3" because I have heard that MANY times from some pet...
I was going to have a mistking shipped from the US to the UK but read some reviews about the timer not working and sprayed for hours and flooded everything so put me off O_o
A unfair statement, not sure which pet stores you are near but not all pet stores carry wild caught reptiles, there's only one near me which does and don't buy from that particular store but both of my chams were captive bred and from a pet store and no issues.
Back to the OP, I don't think...
His casque looks fine actually.
Please fill this out, you're new and seems no one is making life easier by posting this for you to fill out.
