Wow she is looking so good. You must be so very proud of yourself. You did a great job nursing her back to health and I am so glad she is growing well and looking nice and healthy.
Things like this make me sick. You have spent the money on its set up so why can't you spend the money getting your animal humanly euthanased. I hope you get caught out, report and fined or imprisoned. Oh and I don't think any other forum will tell you how to kill your pet.
Oh bless him. I am sure he will be fine he just has to get used to you and his new environment. I think it varies on how long this will take depending on his personality.
I mist with warm water and my little guy runs for the most densely planted part of his enclosure. He hides behind the leaves and doesn't seem to like it much. He is getting better though. I have only had him 3 weeks.
Hello I am sorry if you have all answered this question before but I need to make sure I am doing this right.
I mist my veiled chameleon (male) 3 times a day. I do 2, 3 minute mists and 1, 5 minute one. (I hand mist) I also have a dripper running. Does this sound about right? The reason I...
I have read this post from start to finish and I would like to say what an amazing job you did nursing Pascal back to health. I am sorry for your loss. RIP Pascal.
I am sorry I can't give you any help or advice but I wanted to say don't blame yourself. I am sure you are doing all you can for her. I hope she perks up again soon and someone can give you some help.
I think you might need to update your uvb light and make sure you dust the feeders with plain calcium (when it arrives) on every feeding. Also why do you feed him at 5pm? Isn't this a bit late for him to digest his food properly? (someone with more experience will be able to help with this). I...
My little guy shed yesterday (he is about 3 months) i felt really sorry for him because he looked so unhappy. It only took him a few hours though. He did have a tiny bit in his tail and on 1 leg this morning (its gone now though) and he is beautiful green again. I would remove the bark. Rule of...
I have heard that a cardboard box is good with a stick in it to sit on and a towel in the bottom in case they fall off the stick (probably worth double checking that though). Hope this helps. I would be worried about it too but it is definitely worth getting it checked out just for your own...
I would still get him looked at. He might be in pain. That is not a nice thing to live with. You would go to the doctors if you was in pain. He just can't tell you. It is good that he is still able to feed though.
I agree with doing research but it sounds like you have plenty of time to do that :) The forums are also a great place to learn. I have had my current chameleon for just over a week and I am learning new things every day by caring for him and reading the forums. Don't be afraid of asking...
I use warm water to mist. My little fella doesn't like it much either but it needs to be done. I try not to mist him directly but he always seems to get wet. I hand mist as well and use a hand held pressurised garden sprayer. It gives more of a mist than a spray.
Thank you for your advice. I have been thinking and I might leave it today and wait until our weather warms up a bit and hope we get a summer lol. Its a bit hit and miss in the uk.
Morning, I want to try and get my little guy outside today for some natural light. I was thinking of just taking his cage outside. The question I have it the max temp today is going to be around 17 there is no wind and it is sunny should I still provide him with some heat like from a ceramic...
