A veterinarian, Dr. Keith Benson, who was on my Turtle-l mailing list said regarding Vitamin D3 or Solar drops:
"What I find interesting is that the dose is given irrespective of the size of the animal. Surely this will result in some overdosing and under dosing. D3 is considered (and...
ok, i thought it would be to good to be true, there was something about uvb light in a drop that just seems too risky to me. sure would be nice not ever having to replace bulbs every 6 months. thanks for the info
hmm
i can understand healthy chams but wowww... you guys do a great job dont get me wrong, its just that i am glad that my veiled chams 1.1.13 do great with crickets and super worms dusted twice a week. its truly awesome that you give them the attention that they need
hey guys its late at night and being out of town can make you worry about the care of your babies. this is my first clutch, and i dont want anything but to know that they are all in good hands rite now(they better be or i am holding my sister responsible lol). anyways now that i think about...
yes i am feeding them fruit flies everyday. they r three weeks old almost. pinheads have been a pain to get lately at the local pet store. but i will ask when i get there.

im going to get 2 new 5.0 bulbs, 2 thermo regulators that im going to connect to the heat lamps. i have 15 so im going to try to split them in half, keeping the bigger ones in one cage, and the smaller ones in the other. no more fogger. and im also going to...
it would seem like its entirely too damp in the cage, the paper towels are soaked within a day of that fogger running. should a get a thermostat to run the heat bulb? i have to go out of town for the next three days and im goin to have a friend stop by to feed and mist them. the uvb is 3 month...
ok i have 15 veileds in a 10 gal aquarium. they are about three weeks old. i keep the aquarium at 75 to 82 degrees. i had them in a bigger screen enclosure but did not have a heat lamp in there so the temp stayed generally at 72 to 75 degrees. i think my uvb flourescent light is a 5.0 not sure...
i've been noticing some of your signatures lately and been seeing this .1 1.0 and other what looks like to me a ratio of some sort always followed by a breed of cham. what does this mean?
apocalypse upon us?
lol i had to say sumthing drastic in hoping i get a response. i have a total of 15 veiled baby chams and two of them seem to be walking around with their eyes shut in the aquarium. is this normal?
well i know for sure that if given the chance, camie wouldnt mind snackin on a few of her offspring. i showed her one of her new babies, she seemed very timid and confused almost like she was a little happy and uncomfortable. weird. after a couple minutes i let the little one crawl onto the...
