I was surprised to find my ambanja, Dr. Jekyll, perched in his hibiscus plant, munching on some leaves. I'm glad I rinsed the plant off before I put it in his cage. But I am surprised as I thought panthers only ate insects. Anyone else have a panther who likes the occasional salad?
Dez, I LOVE him. You weren't kidding when you said he loves his superworms! He sees the container and he's right there, trampling everything that may be in the way. I am so glad I got him
Hello. My name is Theresa, I live in Tucson and I am addicted to chameleons. I have 2 ambanjas, 1 Nosy Be, 1 ambilobe and 1 sambava. I can't believe I'm considering buying yet another chameleon..

Congratulations on your overseas assignment-how exciting and nerve wracking too! I'm an Army brat and an Air Force wife-my husband retired a few years ago for his second career. We were stationed in the Netherlands for 3 years. It was great being able to travel all over since it was...
I was trying to hand feed my cham a superworm. I should have given him more room to shoot for it! He stretched himself out as long as he could, took the superworm and accidentally bit me while doing it.
Ouch! The skin is broken and I now know he can clamp down hard. I had to laugh...
Dr. Jekyll, Out for Trouble
Here is Dr. Jekyll, son of Dr. Gonzo, godson of Ryan. Dr. J is an Ambanja with ATTITUDE. Hissing, lunging-that's what he lives for.
I just discovered a cactus wren helping itself to my crickets!
I keep my feeder totes on a covered porch. I don't always put the lids back on properly (don't get my DH started on the toothpaste). The wren hopped into the partially open bin, helped itself to a beak full and flew off...
Here is Kraken, my ambilobe, at 8 months old. He is a big eater! Once he's out of his cage, I am his best friend. Otherwise, I have to watch my fingers.
