Well that's good to know! Thanks! When I saw him eat dirt this week I got worried that he might get a stomach irritation or something. But I'm glad I asked.
Hi again,
This is probably an easy question...only to be asked be a newbie. But what can I do to prevent my cham from accidentally ingesting the dirt from a plant's pot?
Hi everybody!
I finally noticed that my cham's cage isn't full enough:( ! I'm planning to pick up a plant this weekend and wanted to know if you guys could name me a bunch of plants that are easy to maintain and that my veiled cham can enjoy (besides those mentioned on the plant species list...
Hi everybody!
I was wondering if there's a trick to get your cham to eat from your hand? Is it just something you can just start when it's young? Can you get any species to do it? Do most of you do it at all?
thanks!
Thanks!
Hope he stays healthy though...he hasn't been eating a whole lot lately (only one butterworm this week). If he starts to go weak on me i'll probably have to go see a vet.
Well mine actually did that for a while...he went through 50 crickets in 2 days...I thought for sure I was going to be broke. But he eventually slowed down after a while....and now he pratically doesnt eat at all.
Mine doesn't go for food from my hand...which pretty much means he doesn't trust me :(
But I also get the impression that he just doesn't like worms that much. He seems to go much more for the crickets. Is that normal? I like to rotate between worms (silk & butter) and crickets to give him...
Hi y'all!
Here's my first question!
I'm a first time owner of a male veiled cham (Lenny!) since July. He is now about 6 months old. I came to expect that his appetite would slow down but I don't know the standard...how much (too much or too little) does he have too eat before I should...
