    Starter and Adult Size

I know that when you purchase a Cham at around 3 months, they need to start in a smaller enclosure until they get to be older and better at finding food etc. Is it possible to buy a larger enclosure and simply put a false floor into it that can be removed therefor not having to buy a second...

    Maybe a stupid question

    Maybe a stupid question

Thank you all for your answers! I know some forums I have been on have a sticky with the abbreviations and meanings so I didn't know if I was missing the lingo post somewhere. Those were the main two. I had heard of Nosy be but never Nosy faly. Is a faly and a Nosey faly the same thing?

    Maybe a stupid question

Is there somewhere where I can find out what some of the more common acronyms mean? I feel a bit lost sometimes. I tried to use the search but I didn't find any information. Can I get some help? Faly? CH? etc.

    Suggestion on Panther?

I have done a lot of google searches the last few days but it seems any local can vary from $100-$300 so I'm having a hard time working out what is what cost wise. Chameleon Company certainly has the lowest prices I've seen thus far.

    Suggestion on Panther?

I am doing research with plans to get my first Chameleon sometime early next year (sooner maybe?). I would like to get a panther but with all the locals I am a bit turned around. I will not lie, I would prefer a 'cheaper' one. I have no intention of breeding so 'breeder quality' is not so much...

    A question for everyone!

Good answers so far! Just to clarify, many people don't suggest pet shop Chameleons but that doesn't mean that some of us didn't get their chameleon at one. It is still always interesting to hear where people got their pets.

    A question for everyone!

I am curious, where did YOU get your chameleon(s)? Pet store? Breeder? Online? If so which petstore? Which breeder? What website? I have seen this kind of post on several forums and its always interesting to see where everyone got their pet since everyone can answer.

    Feeding Questions for Panther Cham

When I had my dragon I almost had a colony going, but the woman I was buying from suddenly stopped sending roaches and I had to feed out my whole colony just to get by :( So can I get an idea of how many of a feeder I am looking at each week? 100-150 or so?

    Feeding Questions for Panther Cham

I read on two different websites, that if you feed them too much they wouldn't get a good amount of calcium and grow too quickly and get MBD. It seemed fishy to me which is why I asked since I didn't think MBD could be caused by rapid growth (if so my bearded dragon should have gotten it when he...

    Feeding Questions for Panther Cham

Sounds good. The info I read said something about offering less feeders as they grow to prevent them from growing too quickly and getting MBD. I am so used to my bearded dragon who could power through 50-60 feeders a day, its amazing to think they eat so much less! Are super worms ok for use...

    Feeding Questions for Panther Cham

I was doing research while waiting for replies and read that I should look at more like 3-5 feeders a day. Where does the disconnect come from?

    Feeding Questions for Panther Cham

I am doing research for when I eventually (probably not till near Christmas) get my Panther Chameleon. I was wondering in regards to feeders. I simply cannot use crickets. What other options are available to me? Also, I am planning on getting a younger chameleon (the youngest that I can get...

    Introduction and a quick question

He was tested and they said he just has stinky poo. I am used to my crested gecko who you can NEVER smell to to go into having a bearded who STANK it was shocking. I have actually done a fair amount of research so far and I certainly post more when more questions arise. I am very excited to get...

    Introduction and a quick question

Is there an 'ideal' chameleon to start with? Ideally I want a Panther chameleon but if they are dramatically more difficult to handle I wouldn't mind switching.

    Introduction and a quick question

My name is Kitty. I have owned crested geckos for several years and just recently I rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed a bearded dragon. I have admired panther chameleons from afar for a long time and I am now saving up to get one. My ultimate question is, the bearded dragon's poo could...
