    Hand Feeding Help

I agree moving slow is key. Try just being in the room, reading a book or something, letting him get used to you being around. After a while you'll just be a pice of furniture

    oil based stain

What are your guys thoughts on using an all in one polyurathan and stain to protect wood for a cage? It's oil based and was not sure if it's ok to use. The sad thing is I alread have the cage pretty much done and stained. I would think after it's completly dry it should be good.

So you'll...

Is my chameleon "ok" to handle???

My little guy loves to come out. When I first got him I would take him out to feed and now any time I open the door to his cage he runs over goes up my arm and sits on my head (he also loves to climb certains) lol. My thoughts on this is let them do what they want, I would never force him to...

    Chameleon too close to light/heat

It would be to high if he was continuly basking in it but I don't think it would burn him. That's the temp of the screen not the air under it.

    Chameleon too close to light/heat

If you place a thermometer inside the cage right on the screen and go for a temp of 105f to 110f you should be good
