I know several questions have been asked about determining the age of a cham, but I have to admit I am a bit confused.
Is there an approx. set of measurements according to age? I have seen several mentions of people asking how long to give an approx. age.
When I measure do I need to...
I have a vieled and he really likes to be handled. I was a bit worried at first because I read the same that they don't like to be handled. However he comes to my hand or will climb on my arm when I reach in to clean or feed. He also turns some of his best colors when handled. Go figure.
Thanks for the great advice. I will remove the moss in the am...he is alseep already. As for the carpet I will just change often as I have been until I upgrade to new home with a drainage. :-)
Ok, so in an attempt to not repeat, but to clarify. From what I'm reading is my Verde should be eating more crickets than anything else? I ask cuz I seem to be having the same issue...he just doesn't seem interested in them.
Thanks.
So still being new at this I have learned that substrate is not good, but what about moss and terrarium carpets?
I have moss as an atempt to help humidity levels, but I have noticed Verde has been eating pieces. Good or bad?
I also have a terrarium carpet because Verde does not like the slick...
I would like to officially introduce Verde. I have posted a few questions, but never had a name...took me 2 weeks to decide on one :o
After watching him and seeing his wonderful green colors it finally came to me.
Ok, this is the first time he has slept on the ground. No lights on at all. Good to know about shedding. He shedded when I first brought him home and it looks like he is starting again after only 2 weeks. Thanks
Since I am still learning I have a couple questions. My cham looks and acts happy and healthy. However tonight he decided to sleep on the ground. Do they do this? Also how often do young chams shed?
Thanks :)
