I have tried just about every misting system around! From reptifogger to habba mist to monsoon and even mist king but my all time fav is gonna be the Aquazamp rain dome for sure! And its the easiest setup in the world! And its about the same cost as the junky monsoon!
So I am currently raising a 4 month old veiled and has been nothing but a delite! But I looked at him yesterday and noticed his skin was super saggy and in the past 2 weeks he has always been hydrated! His humidity its always around 60% and has a rain dome go off 3 times a day for 3 mins! So in...
That could work but to be safe ide just run out and buy a humidifier! If your cham is in his/her own room then it would probably be easier to just get a cool mist humidifier! I spent like 60 bucks on mine and when its on less the 50% its keeps hir room at 60%-70% EASY lol
Try pting a small bowl under dripper to catch water! Just make sure bowl is small enough so cham won't sink and to help put a stick in to climb out if he falls! This way he can have what he loves and just drop mistings down to twice a day!? 8)
so for the past couple years I have been feeding my chams calcium with/without D3 and multivitamins and when I purchased my latest veiled the breeders recommended Repashy Calcium plus! has anyone ever tried this supplement? They said you dust with it every day and no longer need to worry about...
I blew through 2 reptifoggers in a month! They work great for about 2 days then start making terrible noises! Get a cheap humidier for sure! I just keep my humidier on low and it keeps his little room at around 50 or 60% (I own a veiled). Your cham will indeed lick drops of water lol that's how...
I finally nailed it with a 65 watt bulb! idk what exactly it is (I threw the box away 8[) and I run 2 humidifiers in the room! one is a cool mist and you can swap it to warm mist during the winter and the other is just a basic cool air humidifier! with both on the room sits comfy at about 60...
Ok so how in the HECK are you guys hitting the proper temps with a 60 watt bulb!? I am in a 18x18x36 repti breeze and with a 75 watt my basking area is barely hitting 90!! any one with a similar set up care to chime in?
