Hey Snootchie. lol.
Dexter's looking great. Who knows... my guys been changing a lot too.He started out with a green body, turquoise bars, and red & yellow spots, now almost all of him is a bright blue and then he has deep orange markings everywhere. I think it's weird for an ambilobe tho. lol...
maxttu... BEAUTIFUL chams! Tomato is so insane looking! Walker is exactly the kind I want in the future. Do you know who his sire was? Is he completely ambanja? Broadway is very cool looking with the red on green. :)
Tanner... Yeah I think that even when we want or expect a certain coloration...
Just wanted to say cuz i ddnt b4... Mufasa and Sid are so unique. Are Sid and Jr brothers? I assume not, but thought I'd ask. bc there's such a difference between coloring. I'm very interested in coloring along family trees.
Thank you! I'll get on that :)
Keeping in mind how fast they grow, at what age would you recommend giving him hornworms? Should I wait til he's fully grown? They're just easily accessible to me, that's the only reason I'm wondering.
I am absolutely LOVING the pictures you guys are sharing! Thanks :)
All of your chams are beautiful! :)
jannb your chams are so cool looking. Thank you for sharing. Hendershot's blue is stunningly bright, gorgeous.
I like blue if you guys can't tell. lol. I love all of the colors, and...
Hey guys. At what age do you think it would be ok to give my lil panther cham hornworms and other large treats? My panther cham is about six months now and is about 11 inches with his tail uncurled.
He LOVES to eat and always is looking for food when I approach him. lol. The one time he...
Does anyone on here breed any chams related to Kammer's Glorfindel? I think he's beautiful. I really want a blue/purple bar on blue body cham in the future. I love the look of the really deep cobalt blue stripes on a cham.
I've seen a few ambanja, ambilobe crosses that have made this kind of...
Hey guys. My panther cham, Spectrum, is about 6 months now. At this point I am supposed to start feeding every other day right? He eats about 13 crick/meal worms a day right now. I'm worried about transitioning him properly. Should I feed him every other day or feed him 6 cricks/worms a day...
Hey do you have a current pic of him? I'd love to see how his colors turned out!
Where'd you get him from? I'd LOVE a an ambanja nosey be cross some day! :)
Ok, I made up my own technique that worked and thought I'd share it. I placed a phoenix worm in a bowl at the bottom of his cage and after he snatched it up I squirt the meds into his mouth while he was chewing.
At this point I have tried gently touching the sides of his jaws, covering his eyes, tapping his nose gently, and even placing him in front of a mirror and he just refuses to open his mouth. He's so sweet I can't get him to open his mouth at all. What to I do now? Are there any other techniques...
Now the next issue is how do I get the meds in his mouth? LOL. he's so lil and very skittish, but still very friendly so, he runs from things, but doesn't open his mouth, rarely even puffs up his body. It's hard to even tap the side of his mouth and get him to open up.
Spectrum saw the vet today. They drained the lump and it was just fluid inside. They're unsure of exactly what it was but believe it was a forming abscess or cyst. He's on antibiotics for the next ten days. Thankfully he is ok right now. :) He loved the vet too, I was surprised, he seemed upset...
