    Petco

I went to the petco in town, not the one I used to work at. They had jacksons, females with males. Female was in constant stress colors, skinny and sluggish. Likely about to die. Turns out the female veiled that I fell in love with about a month ago but couldn't afford died about a week later...

    Flowers and leaves

Chameleons colors change by mood. I have heard that some species may be influenced by environment. From my understanding most chameleons change color based on mood/stress.

Mucus: How much is too much?

Thank you for the response! I'd love to free range him but his cage takes up the only space. It's all a work in progress, he will have one in the near future. He kind of holds his head at an angle at times. I figure hes doing it to watch the cats or the water when I turn on the dripper. I...

Mucus: How much is too much?

So, today my Melon found his way out of his cage. He's lately become very aggressive getting to be about 6-7 months I believe, Male Veiled, and I hear this is common. So he was hissing, almost 'growling' and mouth gaping. I noticed mucus on the sides of his mouth, but no 'strings' no coughing...

    Temperament differences?

Yes, yes, and yes. Each individual chameleon, as well as husbandry, gender, age will differ in personality. When you hear that Veileds are more aggressive, that is because on average you tend to see more aggressive Veileds then other species.

For your lawsuit it all boils down to what the definition of malpractice is in your state, and what the lawsuit was aiming towards. If it was for HIM to pay due to malpractice then he may be immune due to his status as a doctor and what his job entails. (Consent forums) However, if it was aimed...

I don't have much to say that hasn't been said, but the McD's lawsuit does have merit. The coffee kept at McD's caused 3rd degree burns, because of McD's policies. It had also in the passed burned an estimated 700 people with lawsuits that went no-where. So, this lawsuit was necessary to stop a...

    Just wondering...

Finish my novel. So I guess I got 5-6 decades for that though. It's such a shame winter season is plagued by the celebrating of the solstice.

    Chameleons Native to Aruba?

Possibly why they are so beautiful and amazing intelligent reptiles. The New World tends to have a cluster of botched eco-systems by travelers.

Suggestions? waterfall for my Vield ?

Do you mean simply something for the water to cascade off on its way to drainage? As in a non-powered, non-water source "Water fall" till you turn on your big dripper? If this is the case then I too am going to do this for looks and use. I want to use a Japanese water feature as inspiration...

New owner. Cage pics and tips appreciated

Really awesome cage NolaGirl. Pretty much she hit it on the head, although what you have is an improvement it still poses hazards for your chameleon. Such as the hanging light, if you aren't careful and don't set up your vines just right he may attempt to climb on it and burn himself. Is...

Just to let you know, Chameleon Care is an 'art' and the people on these forums have perfected it pretty well. Plenty of great information already given to you... Don't buy retail screens as you've already put that kinda money into it. You can easily buy PVC pipe and a roll of screen and zip...

Whatever you do, don't but it for full price or even 'discounted' unless its like 90% off. If you do, you have just given them demand and they will re-supply.
