    1 month old baby veiled..sick?

3-4 appropriately sized crickets is not an appropriate amount for a chameleon that young. Their bones, muscles, organs, and skin are still developing at the fastest rate possible. I would suggest feeding 10-15 appropriately sized and well gutloaded feeders.

Awww.... Im so sorry for your loss mate, I really am :( We both know Molly was a very strong fighter, and we both know you did as best you could. Just remember that Molly would thank you for everything, and that she passed in loving hands and a kind heart. Thats all we can hope for our little...

Turning this into an enclosure =D

I would make slits in the sides and screen those up as well. Get as much ventilation in there as you can. You will need to clean it really really well.... godforbid you find termites. Next waterproof it with a couple layers of sealant. Any thoughts for drainage yet? that bottom part in the...

The man we purchase our parrots from said that one night he heard a bird screaming to he went outside. He found a raccoon on the outside of a bird cage with its arms wrapped around the parrot inside. He was afraid to approach, but he got a baseball bat and smacked the shit out of the raccoon...

What happens to your pets when they die?

That story made me depressed.... what happened to Rainbow Bridge????? When one of my parrots sporadically passed away we put him in the freezer until the gardener came for the week. 20 bucks later he had dug a hole in our lil cemetery and he was put in a little popcorn bin wrapped in a...

Nice... when they are tiny - you can have some of the most fun just watching them grow. But of course then they get old and colorful . Now, while you have time, is a good time to start reading up everything you can about your little girl - keeping a female is different from keeping...

feeling like ive made a boo boo

ummm.... my female panther lives in an 18x18x36 - she had more room than she knew what to do with. She now lives in a 18x18x30 - at least until she reaches maturity. But unless she becomes a very big female, that cage will probably last her forever.

What happens to your pets when they die?

burying the poor thing is bad enough... I can't imagine digging it up again. We have a pet cemetery in our back yard... one or two cats the coyotes got to and our dog who was put to sleep ( blind, arthritis, skin rashes that bled ). Ide be scarred and creeped out as hell to have to go digging...

What happens to your pets when they die?

If only we could own horses in my town.... if only. I rode horses at... this park place when little. But they whipped them - and when i got old enough to understand it hurt the horses ( I was like 3 then people ) I never went again. Still... horses, have a special place in my heart. As do...

    Shedding

they all have such different personalities! its hilarious really. But back to topic - IYA I think its generally agreed that increased humidity can do nothing but help during a shed ( don't go over board of course and drown the poor guy :P )... but whether your spray your little guy directly...

    Shedding

See now it makes sense! :)..... all my chams hate direct misting, one will readily drink from the nozzle, but any spray he runs from. I always give them a few sprays though - gotta clean the eyes out and such. But when they start to shed - misting of plants and such increases. Still...

    Shedding

Just saying mate, increased humidity helps the shed off easier.... I can't see any reasons why to cut down on misting. You did say it takes 2 days... thats not bad, but I should mention when Luciano shed when it was still warm, he started in the evening and by noon the next morning he was done...

What happens to your pets when they die?

    Shedding

Im sure the chameleons will be singing your praises for the now tight skin drying out on them while they try to shed. :p Increased humidity will keep the shed moist and pliable, making it easier to rub against a friendly branch or leaf and more likely to separate from the main body...

    How much is the shipping?

I think thats what he is asking.... If that is correct, your are looking at more than U.S $100 for shipping alone, and you will probably need a certification of health to both leave the U.S and enter the P.I. Depending on U.S regulations you may also need a permit relating to Cites. You...
