I've been trying to find a source of Terramycin Ointment in Canada, to no avail. I've tried all the local pharmacy's, speciality stores and feed/tack stores, and haven't found ANY! I've also looked online, and I can find several places to buy it in the States, but nowhere in Canada without a...
Well I've removed the dish. I guess I thought it was a good idea, but I'd rather not risk it. I appreciate the advice, thank you. I guess that's why I joined this place!
Well after only one day of "training" Ichabod to drink from a shallow dish of water, I walked upstairs today to find him taking a drink from it! He would take a big bite of the water, then throw his head back and swallow it! Unfortunately, he ran away the minute I pulled out the camera to get a...
I've had Ichabod for about three months now, and I was told he was two months old when I purchased him (but I think he may have only been a month and a half or so). He shows mostly black and white colouration during the day with some blue showing through a bit, especially around the face, and he...
Some guy just posted this on Kijiji London today:

Says he has tamataves, ambilobes, and nosy be's.
You know I had the same problem, and I thought that the misting sessions during the day were enough to water it, but as soon as I watered the plant, the next day it looked brand new!
Dry, as it doesn't go off nearly as fast. Also, I would suggest keeping your roaches in a non-see through container, such as a coloured sterilite container. I think they'll feel much more secure, and possibly step up the breeding.
I would say female, especialy looking at the first two pictures as they have a complete lack of a hemipenal bulge, and also judging by the size. My male panther appeared much larger at the same age (3 months), and was almost double the size of females with the same hatch date...
The ants are carrying the aphids back up the stem because they are farming them. I remember seeing this once on Discovery...

Well I couldn't put it on the top, it's too close to the ceiling, and the other bonus of having it on the side is that it regulates the temperature in the mesh cage MUCH better than just top heat. The thermal gradient moves across the enclosure, so he can stay in the foliage and keep warm or go...
Up here in Canada the mesh cages work fine, as long as you keep the ambient temperature in your house between 75-78F; all you'll need is a 60-100w lightbulb to create a basking spot on one side of the cage.
If you have any construction/welding experience you can just build a table! I just welded up this table with some scrap metal last week. I added some 1/2" rods up the side to clip the basking lights and heaters on to. The enclosure itself is the 265 gallon Reptarium (6' x 2.5' x 2.5'), and I'll...
You can try placing the feeding cup in an area with dense foliage within the enclosure so he feels more secure? My baby blue bar ate right out of the cup from the first day and hasn't had any problems so far. I've got the cup fastened to the tree directly in the middle of the enclosure so it's...
