Rango my Jackson chameleon passed away 2 weeks ago. I haven't posted this sooner because I've been to sad to do it. Rango was my first animal I ever had from a repti con. He was supposedly about 3 years old. I was fascinated from the first second I saw him. I had many other Jackson chameleons to...
I fixed the husbandry problems and he sleeps all day upside down hanging on by usally one leg I have been giving him baytrill for past five days and there is no signs of him getting any better. I can only get him to eat if I open his mouth and put a cricket in. He seems to be loosing weight...
Rango my Jackson chameleon seems to be on his last leg today I took him to the vet the other day and they gave him baytrill but they never gave me a diagnostic on what he had. I'm very scared and I don't know what to do please help me please!! I have another thread where I filled out the how to...
I took Rango to the vet and on the way there I noticed that one of his legs was swollen and that was why he would not close it on objects or even put wait on it. Anyway I told the vet his symptoms and she gave me some bay trill that you squirt in to his mouth. I hope this works!
Rango is doing the same thing he was doing yesterday again but I think it's a bit worse so hopefully I'll be able to get him and appointment to the vet for sometime sooon. I hope he will be ok
Use the heater in the car just make sure hes not super close to it because when I'm to close to the heater it dries out my eyes so I'm assuming if it's the chameleons eyes it would be much worse. Also during walking him into the vet but him in a carrying cage he should be fine for just a short walk
So the difference fromto day and yesterday are outstanding. To day he's crawling around and EATING again acting like a normal Cham. But I'm still gunna keep a close I on him just in case he does anything like he did yesterday. Thank you for all your help if I see him do it again and it's worse...
I have actually never had a problem with transporting my chameleons. Mainly because I think he actually likes them. I bought him in Dallas and drove him all the way back to Kansas and he kept climbing out of this huge paper bad they put him in for me to take him home and he would climb out then...
