Hello Everyone, Well i thought that my chameleons little eye issue was clearing up. he was keeping it closed sometimes, so i was giving him extra mistings and he wasnt doing it as much. Now he is keeping it closed.so i am posting some pics and hoping you can give me some advice on what to do...

where did you get that little valve?

if you remove the crickets at the end of everyday then you wont have a problem.:) and even if you don't it will take a while for the crickets to eat through the mesh.

i like them also! i had time this morning to set my 175 gallon cage up. and its really nice. i thought it was going to be darker but really its like the same. the good thing about it is you can buy replacement mesh for it. im going to do that and make my own cage from pvc pipe from home depot...

what species of chameleon do you have? and how old.depending on what you have 90 to 98 degrees sounds a little high.

Might i suggest dubia roaches? they dont stink and there easier to take care of than crickets. just a suggestion. :D

i bought a 175 gallon reptarium. i have a mist king. and i think ill only put 1 nozzle in it.

that has a lot of potential! i think i would remove the 2 top shelves completely. tac weld screen to the outside of 3 of the sides and fabricate a door for the front.:D

I would purchase that poor guy! get him out of there or he will die. post some pics of him as soon as you buy him and you'll get the information that you need for his care. as long as you have a spare cage, UVB bulb, Basking bulb, and some vines and a real plant to put in the cage he will be...

Yes I would keep misting her like normal.

I wouldn't disturb her while she is digging. Wait till she is back up in the top of the cage before you change out the tub. Just a suggestion. Hope every thing goes good! Good luck!:D
