Wow that looks so good! When you clean out the poop and stuff do you put the crickets in a separate container and then empty everything out. How do you move the crickets?(lol I mean do you pick them up with your hand?)
Also does anyone have advice for how/where I should keep my crickets. I go about every saturday to pet smart and buy like 70 small crickets. I keep them in this container with the gutloaded food. Then I just put them in the container to feed my chameleon with. By the end of the week a lot are...
I am trying to build trust with my chameleon by hand feeding. I tried for the first time yesterday but it had been like an hour and he was trying to hide I think. I am trying again today, but he backs away and looks so nervous. He is colorful, and i’m sitting below him so I don’t think he is...
Oh I didn’t know you could sticks from outside the store told me you had to bake them and use a special chemical on them. So I can just wash really good?
Also I do have two sticks going from the bottom of the cage to the top. I had another one in a different spot but I took it out because I noticed mold on the bottom where water would collect. Is this mold bad? Should I not put it back in his cage.
Okay. Do you have anything that is good to allow him to climb on? because I have noticed he is climbing on the screen a lot which is probably because I don’t have good climbing options. The vine is fake, should I get rid of it? If so should I replace is with anything?
Hi!! I put a plant outside of my chameleon cage with the door open, and he eventually climbed out very slowly. I held my hand near the plant and he climbed on it. Once he was on my hand he was climbing so so fast trying to climb it seemed like towards the window which has a tree outside. I was...
Okay I will definitely do that. He can still climb good i’m assuming because while I was gone I came home and he was in his basking spot at the top! For the live plants this is what I did last time, is this good:
I wash the leaves off with a little bit of dawn soap and water to make sure no...
Sorry for the bad picture, he climbing up to his basking spot (yay) but it was hard to get a picture because there was a plant over it but this is it right now. I put a few angles.
