I can no longer afford to keep my chameleon. His light burned out (ballast) and I can not afford to replace it due to my car also needing repairs, all in the midst of moving...
So my misfortune is your gain and hopefully my chameleons gain as well.
You also get his enclosure and mister...
Due to certain circumstances I may have to re-home my senegal chameleon.
He will come with cage, stand, lights, two live plants which aren't doing well, and aquazamp mist system. All will be free if I do have to re-home.
I am not sure yet if I will have to, but would be nice to have a home...
So my current cricket containing method is not up to snuff. It is working, but I would really like to improve it. Would you mind posting pictures, links or descriptions of how you have yours set up?
Thanks
Hello everyone. I have a mushroom that is growing out a stump in my hibiscus. Is this harmful to the chameleon or shrub? If it is bad for the shrub only how bad is it? It looks cool Haha.
Every time I take my Senegal chameleon outside he gets these large dark spots. Not sure what it means. Any ideas?
He only does this outside. It is different than the "low stress" black spots he was covered in when I bought him.
I've been following this...
Alright guys. I have some questions about cleaning out the cricket container. Currently I have them in a large empty pretzel container with some cardboard for them to hide in. How do you clean out the container to keep it from smelling?
Do you just get enough crickets so that you use them...
With the discussion of inbred chameleons going on I started to wonder about inbred insects, and feeders in particular. I imagine the nutritional value is the same unless they have under developed muscles or less fertile eggs?
So I have had my chameleon for 5 days and haven't seen any poop. One of the problems is I put his cage as high as I possibly could. Top of the cage is 6'7, and the lowest part of the door is 1" higher than my shoulder which makes maintenance difficult. :D

Will natural sunlight coming through a window offer my chameleon anything? He seems to like to hang out where some natural sunlight spills from a crack in my blinds. I opened it up a little bit more for his enjoyment, or is he just going to get depressed because I can't take him outside today?
the title pretty much says it all. I haven't been utilizing a feeding cup yet, but I am interested. It seems like the crickets could just jump out though?
Pull off the back legs? Seems like a lot of work lol
So I recently got my first chameleon and he has grabbed my heart with his sticky pink tongue... Naturally I want to provide the very best I can for my dude. However he hates being misted... maybe I am not doing it right, but it got me thinking about mist systems. That way he can also get some...
Hello all!
What supplements should I be using for my 5" female senegal chameleon?
I am currently feeding her only crickets but will expand her diet when I find out what more is available locally. I don't really like the idea of shipping 1,000 bugs to my house. In florida we have enough...
Hello all. I got a senegal chameleon as kind of an impulse buy. I had been doing some research, but my parents were not keen on the idea so I stopped researching. They finally caved on the day I was heading to a reptile convention with a friend, where I picked up my chameleon for $20. Now...
