My jacksonii mated yesterday and Ive never bred Jacksons before..... Any advice for me from experience breeders? I still have the pair together...when do i separate? Do i need to give me supplements to the female? and how long before she gives birth? Do i separate the babies right away? how...
Just trying to see some options to cut down on my electricty bill... I have all 5 of my enclosures on the same timer . My heat lamps and my UVB all turns on and off at the same time... They are on a 12 hour cycle but wondering if i can turn off either the heat lamps or UVB lamps earlierwhile...
Good thing u mentioned this cuz i was gonna hold the dropper to his face and wait till he opens his mouth and sqeeze a lil bit in there... I think maybe ill just dust his insects with it sometimes
My 5 month old Roy G Biv,is also from Jethro... He looks totally different than yours... Hes mainly green with slight red bars and red spots... Yours is beautiful!... I cant wait for mine to color up some more
On the package they said they were a good supplement for the diet for other reptiles including chameleons... I was wonder if i should sqeeze some into their mouths as a supplement?... Maybe it may give my chameleons some different vitamins and such to their diet.?... Thoughts.?
What do people find is a good digital Thermometer/Hygrometer combo....it can be made specifically for pets or not.... I read mix reviews for the ExoTerra and the Zilla ones

I have been debating if i want to put my Jackson or my Johnstoni in my room.... Both requirement are very similar with lower temps and higher humidity so i figure the answers i get from members should work for either chameleon if i decide to do this

Yes, i am.... I have a room with most of my chams but i kinda ran out of room in that room . I kinda wanted a chameleon that i can enjoy in my bedroom.... My cham room also tends to get a lot hot in there due to all lights so i figure my bed room may be a lil cooler

The tv isnt really in front of the enclosure but now im wondering about my night stand lamp near my bed that will most likely be on while im watching tv.... I can cover 3 sides of the enclosure with a bath curtain which will also help keep the humidity in and possibily keep most of the light...
Im planning to put my Jackson or my Johnstoni chameleons in my bedroom... Im planning to have him use to the light schedule 10am - 10pm... I will have the light shut off at 10pm so i can still watch him for a few hours after i get off work... The problem is that i usually watch tv in my bedroom...
