This is how Jasmine looked a few days ago:
here's a long video of her coming out of the hole and burying the eggs:

then she finally decides that the eggs are buried enough and climbs out:

has a long...
She's done! After covering the hole for about an hour, she climbed up out, had a long drink, and ate a cricket. Now she's just stomping around her cage angrily, although she's normally not a very happy cham lol. I switched the camera onto Pepper, my Jackson's cham, but if you are on the...
Gorgeous! Then I had a heart attack when I saw the bee at the end lol
I have a bee phobia, but up close when they're not trying to attack me, they're kinda cute and fuzzy
Thanks :) I got a bigger bucket and filled it with sand/cocofiber. It's like a mini garbarge can that I was going to use to store catfood lol. She's in there now digging again and all you can see is her tail. The camera is on still so you can see her progress
Well now it seems as if she got to the bottom of the bin and didn't like the hole she dug, so she left the bin and is now scratching around the bottom of her cage outside the bin. Sigh. I was hoping this would be easy. I guess I need to get her something bigger asap with some more sand :(
I thought Jasmine had eggs because she showed gravid colors a few days ago and now she's digging in her laying bin!
Check it out on my chameleon cam :D
I keep mine on oatmeal. It cuts down on the smell a little, but I also remove dead ones asap. I usually buy around 100 a week, although my friends usually slip me more than that
I also breed dubias and feed hornworms and butterworms when I can get them, so I don't need more than that...
Even though my precious Kami just died, I adopted a baby senegal from my friend at the reptile show this weekend. I thought maybe I could save her, but I guess she was already on her way out because she died today while I was at work. Poor little thing. She was in really bad shape and looked...
Sorry to hear that you lost one :(
I just got one yesterday at the reptile show. How do you all have yours setup? Mine is on moss for now, but I've been trying to figure out how to set up his tank :)
When Drac is thirsty and wants me to mist his cage, he bites on one of the fake leaves until I bring the mister over and spray his cage. Then he stops chewing the leaf and drinks water instead lol. I'm not sure if he's chewing on the leaf on purpose to get my attention or if he's just trying...
That's slightly nicer than the poor cham enclosure I saw at Petco a few months ago. It was about the same size, but had like nothing in it except a fake plant. At least this guy has stuff to climb on even though the poor fellow can't climb up :(
