I'm looking for someone who is willing to stay at our home for two days and care for all chameleons as well as our family pets. This would be for a weekend in July. Pay is negotiable. For SERIOUS inquiries, contact me by email at [email protected].
Thank you.
Has anyone here successfully bred or hatched out gracilis? I'm waiting on a clutch of 15 CB gracilis eggs that were laid at the end of July 2009. I was expecting them to hatch out between the end of March and end of April 2010 based on the information in Petr Necas' book Chameleons Nature's...
Please note that there are other nice replies to your thread. You will find that some people become very passionate about a chameleon in need.
Give the forums a chance and don't rush off due to some of the responses. You're dealing with all sorts of people here, all ages, all levels of...
Excellent photos. You can almost touch the clammy little things. Did you lick any? ;)
We used to go "save" the salamanders or newts or whatever that crossed the road up in the mountains. April would collect the pacific tree frogs but she couldn't stand touching the salamanders. So Ashley...
I'm late to this thread but I agree. Just the profile pic alone was enough to see the MBD. Thankfully you found this forum and now you know something is wrong with your chameleon. As suggested, a vet will help correct the problem by providing you with prescription calcium drops and possibly...
Kind of true. Our 10 lb. miniature dachshund is the alpha dog over our 65 lb. pit bull mix. But we have also witnessed a pit bull killing a dachshund. So it really depends. With dogs, I don't think you can really stereotype. I love pits very much, btw.
So back on topic, if you stop...
Patrick,
Your cristatus baby is so blue/green. Mine are more brown, beige and green but no blue color in them. Does this last photo show a baby with edema? The gular area looks swollen but if that's just swallowing motion, then it would explain it.
Congratulations on the success you're...
I bought 1000 large crickets to see if I could breed them for pinheads. I don't need them any more because I don't feed such large crickets to my chameleons.
Does anyone near Woodland Hills (in Los Angeles) want them? If so, EMAIL ME at [email protected]. I've only had them for two days...

Finally the little Veiled is about to go to her new adoptive home. Just wanted to share one last update from me.

I bought my first chameleon, a F. cephalolepis from PetSmart. It was a learning experience. With Chameleon Forums here and if you're willing to deal with possible parasite issues and are willing to take advice from experienced keepers, then why not? Unless you're known to be a problem keeper...
I missed this one, sorry. I posted exactly what it said on that link Todnedo posted. Here is the actual page.
Does the clean RO water pass through both fittings before heading to the misting lines?
Maybe he was also looking at the hose bibs where we used brass splitters. I need to...
