Hi i went back to the vet to get the burn checked the vet looked at the burn and prescribed some Silver Sulfadiazine and i have been starting to use it for a day now

I will take my chameleon to the vet just to check it out again

The oral medication is unbranded there is no label just a small bottle the vet gave a multivitamin and a anti bacterial one

If you think silver sulfadiazine will be better i can change to using it the only reason i was using spray iodine i because thats waht the vet told me to use

I dont think it has actually healed as the texture on top of the burn is different from the skin (Talking about thr bigger burn)

So is it normal if the skin that over layed the burn turns darkish brown/black?

Will the skin go back to its normal color?

Yes for the light i had placed it higher up so even if he climbs the screen the heat is not too hot to burn him when touching the screen but the basking spot still stays around 85 degrees, For the burn my vet recomended me to use spray iodine which seems to be working as the skin of the burn...
