Anyone attending the Tampa Repticon this weekend? I will have a table there and hope see or meet some people from here. Come by my table and say hi (My Jungle Herps). I will have panther chameleons and tillandsias.
I thought Diego Suarez also but the guy says that he picked him up at the Orlando Repticon. I had a table at that show so I narrowed down who he got it from and told him to call and ask. His response is a red bar ambilobe.
This is a very sad. This show you how the news can severly affect the way a reptile keeper is portrayed. This is bad for the industry. I can't believe the way that people jump to conclusions and say horrible things about these people before they even really know what happened...
Sweet! Congrats man! Great pics by the way and nice geckos. I would like to get into keeping some uroplatus again, but I have the room issue also. Thats great that you are getting offspring out of them. I would love to see your collection one of these days, were going to have to plan...
Anyone on here going to be attending Repticon Orlando Next weekend (22nd and 23rd)? I have a table at this show and I will have tillandsias from Russels Tillandsias. If anyone has any requests of tillandsias to bring let me know. I will also have my panther chameleons and some dartfrogs. I would...
I use the same method as Champhibians with the tubs and no tops. You just have to make sure that you keep the plants trimmed so they can't reach the rim of the tub. For newly hatched I feed pinheads and fruitflies twice a day and water twice a day. For incubation i have tried both as well as...
I have kept F. pardalis outside seasonally here in Florida, weather permitting, for years now. I bring them in if the ambient temp is above 93 F or drops below 65 F. Higher or lower than that can cause unneeded stress on them. For gravid females who are already under a large amount of stress...
Congrats! You're lucky that you are allowed to raise them in your state. I kept Orchid and cryptic mantis a few years back until I found out that you can't have them in FL. Good luck with them, Chinese are one of my favorites.
I have found them in my enclosures before. They will multiply in a vivarium and take over, but just a potted plant I'm not sure. The way that people get rid of them in vivariums, without being harmful to the live plants, is by using dry ice (after the animals are removed of course) which...
I wouldn't worry too much about them. I have had pygmies dig up their old nests accidentally, I don't think that they remember where they previously dug. To tell you how hardy brev eggs can be, me and a fellow forum member decided to exchange eggs through the mail to get new bloodlines a few...
That sucks. Do you know what type of mantis that they are? The egg case is actually called an ootheca. I have raised cryptic and orchid mantids in the past. That are amazing little creatures. It is entertaining to watch them hunt. I get my flies from www.joshsfrogs.com. He has pretty...
