    Happier in the Wild?

Some chameleons just don't like people. There are menbers who are very lucky and have friendly Chams. Jannb's chameleons are all friendly and happy so you could try what she does and free range. It may take him much longer to get used to you, I've had my girl over a year and she's still not find...

Melon, the Veiled Chameleon, how old are you?

To check the sex of your new friend you only need to look at the back oh the hind feet. If male you will see a little toe like spur. The females don't have the spur. Just from the look of the casque I would say sub adult 6-8 months or older and I think I see some colours coming through. A...

Cham first aid advice needed, no time!

The hawk attack could have seriously damaged him and stressed him out. Both impact and stress related injuries can be fatal so you need to see a vet look for and broken bones and internal damage caused by the fall.

Cham laying eggs!! What do I do?

Take her to the vet straight away. If she's too weak to dig and still has eggs in her then things can go down hill pretty fast. Usually you would leave her to dig a hole and lay the all the eggs then straight afterwards she would eat and drink to get her strength back up and recover.

    Help brake the nostral blockade!!!

He should be able to snort it out on his own like they do with salt deposits so I wouldn't worry too much. You can try misting it off if you like but be careful about spraying too much over his face.

    Jake - cat attack

Wow he's a very lucky boy to come off so well after a cat interaction! I'm happy he's doing good as it could have been a lot worse. I would still do the vet visit because infections take time to come on so you don't know what will happen in a few days if things go missed or untreated. He looks...

Help confirming Male or Female Veiled and age

Hi there! And welcome to the wonderful world of cham keeping! You have a pretty little girl 100% as there are no spurs on her heels. She doesn't have her big girl colours yet so I'm gonna say she 6 months or under. Yes you can reduce or even halt the infertile egg production by controlling...

Please HELP! New baby girl with something hanging from her mouth...

I am so very sorry that things went this way :( she was a beautiful girl and you made the right choice in ending her suffering. Chameleons that size are so fragile and are difficult to treat for any problem or illness.
