I bought 3 breaded pygmies a few months ago. One female died the rest are doing good and have 4 hatching doing great. If the specs are like the breadies I should have at least a few survive. Im thinking about getting 4 more females just incase these dont make it.
Would anyone have a good care sheet on these guys. I'm looking for specific info Iv found a lot of general info on pygmies but no good info on the spectrum's.
Just got in 6 spectrum pygmies today. Two males and four females. One was almost dead on arrival and looks like it just passed away after a few hours a second female looks pretty skinny and may not be far behind. Im keeping them separet right now each in there own quarantine set up...
When the babies hatch they will head to the highest point in the tank. I remove them from the parents tanks as soon as they hatch. There is a chance that the parents will eat them so keep the parents well feed.
Grats ferret! I just had 4 babies hatch out this Sat They are so cute and tiny. Here a pic of them sleeping The come to the same spot every night to sleep.
I'm In clearwater and sticking up. But i'm more worried about the heat that follows no electricity. I sat thought katrina and we were without electricity for 3 weeks It got over 100 in the house . My pygmys chameleons ,frogs and crested geckos like it under 78. My day geckos would love it though.
A pair of thumb nails would fit in a 12x12x18 fine . One leuc would be fine also. Tincs are way to big and need more ground space. As for vitiams I use Repashy calcium plus, herptivite, and repashy vitamin A. Just have a piece of glass cut at lowes it will cut you maybe 4 or 5 dollers try...
