thanks guys, ill try kale and dandelion greens or shredding the collards. looking at her poop today i noticed it looked like a cigar--there was a whole leaf just shriveled up in it! she'll probably be able to digest more of it though if i shred it.

i tried feeding my 9 month old female veiled collard greens since shes been eating her pothos quite frequently but it seems that she cant bite through them and ends up spitting them out. i left a few leaves sitting on her branches and the next morning i found one gone so maybe the wilted collard...
oh they are just so cute! baby chams always look so much bigger in photos than they really are. its nice to have a comparison to really see how tiny :)
oh man...i guess i have to do some more research on youtube. the vet makes it look so easy to do by himself! i do remember someone here saying they had their cham hold onto a towel with all four legs as they gave him medicine or removed a sperm plug and he was pretty calm.
i was wondering if any one has or knows any videos or pics that show ways to hold chameleons when administering oral medicines or cleaning eyes with saline solution. luckily my chameleon will voluntarily lick drops of her medicine but if i ever needed to clean her eyes it would be very useful to...
just a light dust, enough that you can see some faint powdering on the crickets but you dont want to cake them in it. i usually place about 4 or 5 crickets in a cup and just use a pinch of calcium and shake them around a bit.
what is your supplementing schedule? if you are dusting them...
ewww yes that happened to me once when i put sliced carrots in a closed container of mealworms with very little ventilation. i forgot about the worms for a few days and before i knew it, those little mites were crawling all over my desk and got into my drawers...it was very gross. im assuming...
since we have the heat on in the house, her basking spot is getting to about 85 now at the highest. i wanna keep it in the low 80's though as many people here have suggested so she wont produce eggs.
as a bit of an update, i got the results from her fecal back and she doesnt have blood in her...
very cute chams! pan reminds me of my boy montu. he had similar colors when he was that age and also has a god's name! :) cant wait to see what pan looks like in a few months!
