i would not use the waterfall as they harbor bacteria,i suggest a dripper instead..perhaps more real plants..and i have never heard of that type of lighting either...in my opinion that cage would be too small for a cham of 6 mnths,but it does look clean and bright..maybe a little more research...

im wondering,can i use a regular flourecent balast(fixture) to house a linear uvb tube? like a balast from crappy tire or home depot and put a uvb linear tube in it? or does it need to be a special balast? i hate my spiral uvb bulbs,havent had any issues with my chams using them(i am aware of...

i agree with everyone on here in saying we only have the chams best interest at heart:) i had a waterfall too but after a few people who have TONS of experience saying it was a bad idea..i took it out immediately!! i like waterfalls as well but if it is BAD for my chams why would i just go ahead...

im a little concerned about what chemicals may be in the material used in this type of hose also,and if there isnt sufficient pressure then wouldnt you get stagnant water build up inside the hose as well? that isnt good either. have you ever had a sip of water from a regular hose? it taste like...

i did fail to mention,lightly misting your cham will give him the oportunity to rinse his eyes if there is debris in them,also he may have just scratched his eye on something,if misting him a few times a day fails to remedy the eye rubbing or if this starts to look worse or is happening often a...

in my opinion(also this info is readily available in the husbandry section on here) your cham should be eating roughly 10-12 med size crix a day at that age..i have a male that is the same age and he eats this many,when he reaches 5-12 mnths of age then feed crix 8-9med/larger crix..a dripper...
