Hi,
I currently have a 4 month old Veiled Cham. Iv been wanting to put a plant in her enclosure. I was looking around at Hibiscus but a few places told me that they tend to grow aphids and a few other bugs. I also was looking for pothos but here in toronto, Ontario no one seems to know what...
Well today i decieded to try new things with my 4 month old Veiled chameleon. I went out and bought a few butter worms, wax worms, phenoix worms and meal worms. I wanted to see which she liked better. I was told to put a few of them in a glass small bowl which i did. My Cham played no attention...
I bought a few today...my cham looked at them once and didnt even bother and they stayed in her cage and she didnt even touch them but as soon as i put a cricket in there she started chasing the cricket...
I can return it for a bigger one i still have 15 days left:D. My chameleon is almost 4 months old its getting a bit big in this cage it chases crickets and flys like a champ!
Im kinda lazy on making 1 right now lol. So tonight im going to go out and take a look at a 65 Gallon 30" x 16.5" x 30"...What are your thoughts on this terrarium?
I was looking for a 24x24x30 or 36 enclosure but i cant find those measurements.
For the amount of space I have, those measurements would be perfect. But no one seems to have those. I’m considering custom making it but if I could just buy 1 it would be so much better and make my life a tad easier.
Currently i have a 16x16x30 enclosure. Is this enough for my veiled cham?
Right now my cham is 3 months old and she is a female if that makes any difference.
What should i do about the heat in the room?is it ok if the temp in the room is 30c? and also the house doesnt have central heating or air conditioning, so the house gets pretty hot during the summer.
I have a uva/uvb Light fixture but iv been looking around and everywhere seems to be sold out of the proper bulb. I was told not to turn it on because its 30c in the room.
Can you give me a link to a good site that can help me out?
And BTW im from Toronto, Canada
Hi my name is Billy. I recently got my very first reptile, a veiled chameleon.
I just got him today.
He hasn’t been eating since I got him this morning and its 9pm.When I first brought him home he was a nice light green now he’s a dark green. Am I doing something wrong, or is this normal?
