I would give her maybe a month accounting for settling into new enclosure and male sniffing about. Guessing by the size about 4 eggs if she is close, maybe 5 but that is a big clutch. all my girls seem to lay 4-6 mostly fertile each time they lay.

I would also like to know more info, because I have a gravid carpet (lateralis major) currently. I have read that incubating is super tricky with carpets.

gravid! If she disappears for a day or two don't be alarmed she may be digging.

She wouldn't eat form it anyway, so I took it out and now put food one at a time on a leaf for her to chase down. Thanks Ferret I will get something around the front of the bin asap.

my hubby made me one using a powdered drink container and a t valve. Works great t valve lets me control how fast or slow it drips out.

Is it deep enough do you think ferret? I followed the laying bin set up video by camelot chameleons. Just hope it will work for her. All I have experience with for eggs is pygs and they just lay in their substrate, so this kind of worries me...

I was hoping you would see this thread. You are the go to on carpets! I may be bending your ear a bit in the future. What supplement scedule would you recommend for the majors, and how long before she will need a laying bin?

0I was the one that suggested that size for a trio. I have had a trio in one successfully for a year. No signs of stress, heavily planted. It was recommended to me when I first got pygs a year ago and has worked out great for my group.
