thanks all! my mom and aunt were pretty excited to see it - they're out visiting from the east coast. =) i'm just thrilled we actually have babies from this clutch!! =)
We only have 6 in this clutch - it's an ambilobe x ambanja clutch....weren't sure if they were even going to hatch at all, but right now, we have 3 more open and the other two looking close.... (pics of parents first then the first one out) =)
Gargamel
Astrid
Hehe...that's how we came up with Gargamel for our guy...didn't wanna name him smurf, but that's what the blue reminded us of, so we went with Gargamel. ;)
You could try http://www.omniglot.com/language/colours/index.php and look at the other language words for "blue" and pick out one you...
well, in a sense, if it's a hemipene amputation, you lose breeding capability, but if it's intestinal, you're talking health/life of cham overall...not just breeding....
i would try the suggestions above (sugar water and/or ky jelly) and get to the vet ASAP...
if it was just a sperm...
i was told by our vet that they can do an amputation on hemipene prolapse, and depending on the severity, they might still have use of one vs. two.... (i have no idea how correct that is ...but that's what i was told)....
if it's an intestinal prolapse, whole other set of problems.....
Links to our collection....and a link to the babies. =)
We've had to re-home all of our babies, due to PCS orders with the Navy, but they're still our babies!!! =)
