i had the same problem with mine, what is the thickness of the branches in his cage? they might be to big for his feet. but try filling this out there may be some underlying problems that the more experienced guys can figure out.

okay so i went outside and trimmed a couple small branches shook off any nastyness, left the leaves on and tossed it in the cage...he went right for it and is climbing around the leaves and is no longer crawling along the sides of the cage :D you guys solved all my problems thanks a bunch
and im using zoo med repticalcium, no d3 or phosphorus..oh and he also spends most of his time climbing on the sides of the cage and not the branches. dont know if that helps or not.

ive shipped tegus in the cloth bags before, i dont really like it, i say go with the deli cup with a wet paper towel in the cup, styrofoam insulation and news paper around the cup as to prevent sliding around the box from all the shaking around and such. where are you sending the panther to?
alright, so is there anyway to tell if my little guy is actually going to turn out to be a high orange? and also any pointers or changes i need to make on his cage would be greatly appreciated :D (ive never dealt with a baby cham this small, and chams are relatively new to me)
Thank you sean, I don't know what you guys were thinking :p but anyways, I just brought him to my local breeder of all things scaly, he said a month old, tops. Thanks for all the help guys :)
if he is 2+ months and is that small, should i be worried? ive never dealt with veileds this is my first guy. he is a male cause he has spurs. thats the only thing im sure about :P
okay, so i just got a baby high orange veiled. He's supposedly 2 and a half months...but he is just way to small to be that. how old do you think he is? He is just over 3 inches, hes the little guy in my avatar but ill attach a picture for you guys, thanks for the help :)
