Hey so I feel like maybe my chameleon is too small for his age but idk. I got him back in February when he was super small so I’m not sure how old he is..Is it possible that he could be smaller because I just recently got a linear t5 Ho lamp and had the standard coiled uvb bulb for about 7-8...
Not too sure how old. He was super young when I got him back in February so not sure. I feed him regularly and was also worried that he was too small but idk. Yes he eats like crazy too has never had a problem with that.
So I was curious the best way of getting some good greens in for my chameleon. I shredded a little bit on kale and carrots in for the crickets to eat. Is that ok? Tomorrow I’m going to try kale an carrots in the enclosure for my veiled and see if he goes for it. Thank you for your help.
Thank you all so much I actually just purchased the 24 inch t5ho lamp today n will be here next week. He is still active and doing good thank you for your help.
Hey so I was just wondering. I have an 18 by 36 enclosure and was thinking of getting a linear 5.0 uvb. If I have the linear and the compact 5.0 and use both is that harmful to my chameleon? Thank you.
He looks good. Could be stress from a new environment and with my veiled the older they get and with their metabolism slowing down it’s possible he has adapted to not eating frequently. I wouldn’t worry just try n do small hand feedings n see if he does well with that.
I was just curious my chameleon shed a few days ago and now his legs and tail look really pale. He hasn’t started shedding on his tail yet should I be worried because of the color difference? He eats normal is really happy and active. Thanks.
