He has eaten three silkworms already, you can see him checking one of the worms out on this photo. lol

We have noticed a lot of people seem to be having problems getting hold of silkworms/silkworm eggs.
We are no means pro's at this but we do breed our own silks and have done for around a year. We do not have a huge supply but could certainly try to help a limited few people out if they...
Our male Panther does this sometimes....normally when he is relaxed and laid in the middle height of the cage :)
Pretty cool really. I always think it is when he is relaxed and when he isnt soaking up the UV rays.
We love our silk worms and so do our Chams and Gecko.
We started last year and was so successful thats we still have tonz of fertitle eggs that we hatch, we now have coons, huge worms, medium ones, tiny, very tiny and newly hatched lol...oh and eggs...alll the time.

Thank you...we will be very careful and thank you for any advice :)
We thought we was going to get more after she started digging again...but nothing came of that. We checked the bucket and havent found anymore.
It will be very interesting to see if you get more babies then..how exciting...

We got up this morning and turned on the lights...she then decided to get back into her bin and started digging again.....still uncovered and with us in the room.
So we came home and there was a very big hole in the bin....ahw was sat at the top of the cage...all covered in dirt from digging again. We have searched then bin and found no eggs but she has eaten 3 silk worms covered in calcium and had a drink.
We have made up the bin again and dug a few...
Update:
Jasmine is digging again...its been around 24 hours since we dug the last batch of 22 eggs and she is in there digging again. she isnt covered up...we have been in and out of the room (she lives in our bedroom) and Ken just got out the shower to find her butt sticking out from her bin...
Thank you. Good luck with ya veiled eggs. Hope you will be posting photos as they come into the world. Good luck with the panther breeding also, for your future project...do we get to see any pics of your little girl??
