I use the habbamist for humidity. Seems to get the job done.

I have seen hoods that house a combination of fluorescent tubes and incandesent bulbs. Could that be what you are looking for?

Is it okay to mist my enclosure with tap water? They just started a new treatment center and have started to add chlorine!

you need a whole new enclosure! one with out glass and no substrate!! Please do some research online to find a suitable home for your cham.:eek:

Im not sure what type of cham you have, but some one asked me if I knew what the night time temp was in Madagascar right now. I checked and it was running between 55 degrees and 60 degrees. You maybe allright depending on what cham you have.

Pay attention to the temps and wind outside. I am waiting for a sunny day with low winds at 70 degrees. I live in the high desert though, so as soon as the sun starts going down, I will pull him back inside. Hope this helps.

I am picking up a panther next week from chameleon caretakers. I ran a cool mist humidifier over night and got the humidity up to 55%. I also ordered a herpa mist, hope that it will be here before next weekend.

What about a humidifier? Im thinking about getting one to make sure my humidity is high enough. I cant seem to get it above 40% in between mistings.
