I think they are dead because they have been like this over a month, but I just want to double check before I toss them.
I bought ~200 and fed off maybe 30 before they all just stopped moving. I thought, it’s cold in the room, maybe they are just conserving energy. I put them by the basking...
About 3 months ago, a family friend gave me his dubia roach colony. There are about 300-400 Dubias of various sizes in the colony, and I'd say 100-200 mealworms. According to him, it is a fully self-sufficient Dubia/mealworm colony which he had been keeping for 2 years. He said that it doesn't...
I have not caught him misting his own eyes, but I haven't been around for the misting in some time. I have a nice fine hand mister so I've sprayed a little above him before to see if I could help him flush his eyes a little. He blinked a lot, but didn't seem bothered by the water.

Is it weird that I'm happy about that? :ROFLMAO: maybe I'm selfish but I want him to prefer me, especially since I know that building trust will take a lot of work.
I'm wondering, are chameleons able to distinguish between different people? If I tame my chameleon and build trust with him, will he associate that trust with all humans or only me specifically? I just got a new panther chameleon and I'm curious what to expect. What has been your experience?
Howdy Cham Breeders!
I was expecting to get my first chameleon September 1st when the batch of babies is finally 3 months. We called the breeder today and he informed us that out of his batch of 29 babies, 17 died and only 12 are left, with only 2-3 males (and since 2 customers were before us...

Well the 150W bulb wasn't my first pick. Initially I went with just a normal 100W house bulb, because I remember someone saying there's no need to purchase a basking bulb specifically. However, I had the normal house bulb on for 2 days and couldn't seem to get the basking temp above the low 70s...
Howdy!
This is my first post, I'm new to chameleons and will be getting a baby male panther chameleon in a week. I've gotten his enclosure set up and just want to put it out for review--make sure I'm not missing something. General specs about the enclosure are as follows:
General Temp: 72F...
