Hi Tandra
I used to live not far from Hinton, I grew up in Whitecourt, now live in Calgary. The lady I bought my veiled from is going to this Edmonton show in May and will be selling panthers and veild, I am sure there will be a lot of other vendors as well. I have attached the link below...
I have noticed the exact same thing....he is going to bed even when it's still light out so I just turn his lights out and close the curtains, but even in the morning when I turn the lights on he looks a little miffed that I turned them on.
So this morning as I was misting his cage (with one of those lovely hand cramping spray bottles), my veiled came right up to the nozzle and started drinking from it while I was spraying, which was pretty cool as normally he either takes the water from the sides or the leaves. Just had to share!!
OMG...that's all I can say and I am sure you were saying much worse!! I know it will be hard to move on, but all you can really do at the moment is to concentrate and put all your efforts into keeping your female alive. Even if she doesn't make it you obviously have the knowledge and skills, so...
Thanks for the advice. I definitley want to wait at least a year before getting another one. His tank I beleive it's that plexi glass on the sides and door, mesh on the top and just below the door. Monika (who I bought him from) said she would give me the name/number of distributor she buys...
He's at the petland on 130th down in the south. He 's been there at least two months as that's when I first noticed him one of the staff pointed him out to me. He looked healthly and gorgeous colors then, nor anymore though.
The Petland I pick up crickets from has a Tamatave for $520. When I first saw him he had gorgeous colours but the past few weeks I have notice him sitting at the bottom and very dark. Would love to take him home with me but that is waaaayy too much $$$.
Just had to share this video I was able to get of my 6 month male veiled eating. Usually anytime I bring the camera around he holds very still (just posing for the camera I guess). So as I have read on the forum, "chameleons are addictive". I am already wanting another one, but I will wait a...
Thanks for the info I picked some up at the grocery store for my six month old veiled but maybe will pass on these as he needs all the calcium he can get right now
He is almost six months. Weird how my motherly instincts kick in, I check on both kids an hour after they go to bed then check on him (Reggie ) and get worried seeing him like that ...lol
