meh my cham eats any size... shes very old now so it doesnt really matter anymore (9 mo) but honestly they can chew... it really is no big deal. now dont go feeding a 10 month old cham to a 3 month old cham. if you know what i mean.
for your bin what you should do is cut the bottom and replace it with very thin screen mesh. and the part you cut off leave at the bottom. this way the cricket feces will drip down and they wont ingest it. it'll help sanitation by quite a bit.
please dont stick your hand in there trying to get her.
My chameleon, turns 8 months on sept 28, and she wont willingly climb on, only if i entice her with food. she'll still hiss at me. you need to understand that your a gigantic beast in her eyes. Don't let her believe your after her, so...

sorry i meant ligh.t.. not heat. it emits a low amount of LIGHT
i'm also afraid that she might get burnt if she were to touch it... it's a small bathroom tbh, but the shower is large enough. it would heat up very quickly with a bulb i'm sure of that
a black bulb emits a really low amount of heat... its like putting a black shirt over a normal bulb, it gives it a really low amount of light. i intend it to simulate moonlight
a space heater? like the ones with the wires that heat up?
hmm.
and you are right i dont know why i didnt think about babies... she's 7 months and shes no where near ready imo
anyway, ceramic black bulb, hows that?
