Update
As the show gets closer I have some supplies for my new herp a 10 gallon tank with an uth heater a coco husk brick and a humidity guage what should his temp be and what is a good water bowl for a frog ?
In the past I have used ficus b. and schefllera but the ficus I have in my veileds cage is dying and I am looking for sugestions for other plants to use.
Idk about cage carpet for chams as when they go to the bottom their sharp claws could get tangled up on the carpet but carpet is a fine choice for beardies and leopard geckos
OK so in about 2 months the pomona super show is going to take place I plan on buying supplies and a baby albino pac man frog, I have owned one in the past but it died as I handled it to much "I was 12 at the time and didnt know much about herps" :( I have an empty 10 gallon with a screen and a...
damn that sucks
I lost my beardie to somthing kind of like that while i was away at the reptile super show in san diego my dad fed my beardie the hard end of a bok choy leaf and he choked to death on it
some foods have many uses
as a gut load i use cricket crack but for the crickets water I give them carrots that have been soaked in water and do the same thing with apples it forces the crickets to eat more and they gain extra nutritional content
so I ordered an 18" Reptisun 5.0 a fluckers 75 watt black light and a jar of zoo med calcium without d3 but when my order came the calcium was a rep cal without d3 instead. So i decided not to call lll reptile as the rep cal cost more than the zoo med.
threw a dish
i put a mixture of calcium and vitamins for her but she does not seem to be gravid i looked at he belly under a bright light and nothing was there
So its time again to replace the uvb bulb i have always used a repti sun 5.0 for my cham but was wondering if the 10.0 would be better he is in a 24x24x48 screen cage
meds and feeders
When she was on the medcation she ate fine but after she slowed off. I give her a variety of feeders from crickets to giant mealworms and waxworms as a treat
So my 2 year old female gecko mary jane has not eaten in over a week before this i had finished the first of two treatments for parisites i should have started the treatment a week ago but i didnt not want to start the treament for her on an empty stomach. I am going to pick up wax worms today...
Great Idea
yeah i think i will buy her favorite treat wax worms and feed her one or two on the when she does not get feed i think as long as she has some food in her belly she will be fine
