How old and what gender is my guy???

You’ve been given some solid advice. :) I can’t achieve night temps below the mid 70’s, so to prevent risk of respiratory infection, I don’t fog at all and barely give a very subtle bump to humidity at night via a couple of 15 second mistings. I do occasionally struggle with maintaining a decent...

How old and what gender is my guy???

I’m pretty certain your little beauty is a girl and as she’s already got her patterns, make sure to provide a good lay bin asap. No idea when she’ll be needing to lay eggs, but is best to have everything ready to help prevent any issues. I would also advise to do a full husbandry review just to...

My boy really came into his adult colors 😭

While genetics can often be just luck of the draw, and I seldom encourage breeding, it might be worthwhile to try to make more little yellow beauties. :) Where did you get him from?

How old and what gender is my guy???

Hi. I’m going to disagree with everyone as I believe you have a lovely little female who is showing her pretty colors and patterns. Her bars aren’t really true bars and not only aren’t connected, but she has no yellow, orange or black to them as males have. Plus, her casque is lady-sized. Since...

    How old is Gus?

Going by colors and casque size, Gus looks to have been around 5 months or so when you got him. Veileds do grow super fast & the boys develop their colors around 3 1/2 to 4 months old. He will keep growing (but not so quickly) up until he’s around 10-12 months old. Btw, Gus is very handsome.

Camiezone babies from Homer and Big Girl

I just basically ripped it out along with the spline. If you start with removing the spline, it comes out pretty easy in one piece.

    High Heat Tolerant Plant

How hot is your enclosure? Temps for male panthers & veiled shouldn’t be above 85F & for females, 80F.

    Boycotting crickets!

Roaches are super easy to breed. Get more females than males. Put them in a decently sized bin with slick sides (so they can’t climb out), add ventilation screening to the bin. They do best in a bioactive set up - organic soil mix with some small isopods and springtails, leaf litter and cork...

    High Heat Tolerant Plant

Schefflera is a wonderful center plant with its many branches to offer little roads and lots of leaves for hiding in and drinking from. Pothos comes in several varieties and is the work horse plant when it comes to chameleons. Plant one low/on the floor and let it grow upwards and the leaves...
