I did hesitate and thought about posting these links as I know and remember too well some past controversies with Petr. For the most part, he has stayed away from here, except to occasionally dredge up very old posts and tell us how wrong we are, before then leaving us on our own and in peace...
Petr Necas has/is writing some short articles which are most interesting. https://www.chameleons.info/l/deadly-chameleon-myths-series-where-ignorance-ends-and-rigor-begins/ So far, I do find that the general husbandry which we as a whole follow is right in step. Currently, only five are posted...
When a male panther that I was given did the same as your girl, a vet visit proved he was healthy with the exception of a parasite (pinworm). Once treated for the parasite, his appetite lost all limitations and he eats everything now. So, start with a vet visit and parasite check. I also advise...
His casque looks fine to me and he looks healthy. While metabolic bone disease is often responsible for many malformations and disfigurement of casques, I believe for mild bending, and in the absence of mbd, it can be a genetic trait.
That’s rotten! I know lacewings will help eliminate them, and just read Apply diatomaceous earth under your plant's leaves every seven days to work to eliminate a thrip infestation. First, mist your plant and its soil with water. Using a dispenser, apply the product to the leaves, stems, and...
Just keep letting it grow and as it gets long enough, train it by wrapping it around branches in the direction you want. Adding a bit of natural fertilizer (like insect poo) may help it grow.

Once again, dipping a toe in the wild waters of Facebook to advise someone with a lady veiled. Even just one insult and they’re on their own.
I keep my panthers and veileds basically the same, but with some compromise on humidity…I try to keep it around 40-50%. I have given all of my chameleons double sized enclosures and I notice my girls use all of their space just as much as, and sometimes even more than my boys. The plants which...
Just want to give a little additional feedback and suggestions. :)
Yo read your thing I do apperciate it the light is liner sorry I probably should have put that and I do gut load with fluckers cricket feeder. I think most of us started using this in one form or another. Unfortunately, while...
Almost forgot… https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/building-trust-with-your-chameleon.2396/ will help you to work on building trust with your little beauty. However, veileds are notorious for their attitudes and literal hissiness. We still work on building and maintaining trust with them...
I think it’s easier to attach things with screen enclosures than glass or other solid sided enclosures…more options. There are Dragon Ledges, which are fantastic! https://dragonstrand.com/dragon-ledges/ When utilized to their fullest, they can hold a significant amount of weight. I’ve got some...
Hi and welcome! :) I’m going to guesstimate that your pretty little lady is at least 5-6 months old. I’m basing this on the size of her casque and that it appears she may be developing her patterns/colors. The best advice I can offer about feeding is in my blog -...
