How straight should a veiled chameleons casque be?

Hi.

I was just wondering…How straight should a veiled chameleons casque be? My boy(Male about 1 year old) spends most of his time in his outside enclosure. Is this still within “Normal” parameters?

Have just been noticing a slight bend lately…Not sure if I’m just paranoid…

His casque looks fine to me and he looks healthy. While metabolic bone disease is often responsible for many malformations and disfigurement of casques, I believe for mild bending, and in the absence of mbd, it can be a genetic trait.
