    patiently waiting...

ok, not so patiently waiting... tho I can't expect much, b/c I just paid for a young cham, and I want him here already... :P I ordered a young male ambilobe, and he should be here on Tuesday. ::sigh:: 4 days to go... I can't wait. I have wanted a panther for SO long, and finally will be...

    One for the veiled fans!

hmm... interesting... tho I suppose a good climate for them. Kinda sad tho, b/c invasive species always tend to threaten all native species. People can be so careless. Thanks for the info.

    no cage????

If you are still interested in a free-range set-up, you can pull it off, but it will take more than one tree and one low basking light. check out these 2 links on some more proper set-ups for free-ranging: http://www.chameleonnews.com/year2003/mar2003/free_range/free_range.html...

    Roach sighting ends roommateship

I've found that even though my lease said no pets, we had a seperate pet lease... when it said only 2 pets, I kinda freaked and asked what they thought of chameleons/lizards. The manager said that b/c they lived in a contained space (ie:cage) and that they were not dangerous (would likely not...

Do they all live in that small glass enclosure? Veiled Chams prefer independent housing in screen enclosures... I'm hoping they are all up there only to walk around & for the picture purposes...

Peter, I'm sorry you lost Eddie. It's always hard, and will take some "getting used to" before the pain subsides some. I'll keep you guys in my thoughts.

    Power Outages

Hmm, that's a really good question. I don't have a back-up plan. I will def. need to think about that for when I get my cham.

Why my chameleo has white head?

I would suggest taking a closer look at the health of the cham. My cham was only that grey when he was sick. The grey looks more like a pigmentation thing, rather than a bad shed...

    How cool is this???

Being a girl, I have to speak up: "Girly" is quite alright. :p You guys need to get more secure in your man-hood... :p (Please read this with the sarcastic tone it's written in... the internet is bad for conveying it)

    post your fav cham

I think I like the Ambanja Panthers, the Carpets & the Parson's as my top 3... tho I really loved and miss my Veiled... so maybe there's a 4-way tie for 1st... but that's only the ones I'm more familiar with... I LOVE chams in general... Oh! and I forgot the desert chams... Sorry, I'm not very...
