today shes hanging out at the top of her cage, the highest point possible, since i still have her laying bin in there it makes the sticks higher than they should be :)
her colors are purdy today :)
she still closes her eyes some times (although its more rare now)
(i feel bad for her...
nope, i dropped the ball again on that. the iguanas were mean. i didn't get to close. When Pam arrived she walked down by them and one wanted to run out of his cage to get her. that was enough for me. those things are big, and i know how mean they can be. i think they were a little stressed...
all the wood, screen, and hardware (screws, "L" brackets etc.) was only 33 bucks!
But the stain and lacquer was another 35 :p
a gallon of paint would have been cheaper
i took these on day 1 after building it. then i "conditioned" the wood for the stain, then stained it and today, day 2, i sealed it with the lacquer. Tomorrow i will put in the screen sides and the bottom :D
i hope she likes it. its 3 feet tall (with 2ft legs), 2.5 feet across and 1.5 feet...
oh okay. i'll just watch for the colors than. thanks! i thought maybe in the begining they showed colors, but then the colors went away. shes so much different from my little male :o
thank you for your respons. however i have tried that and showers with water dripping off of leaves for a good 20 minutes. i'm building her a new cage now. i'll have to do the final coat of sealant tomorrow and staple the screen in probably tuesday. but maybe a new home will lift her spirits...
this is annie walking across the rugged terrain of my un-made bed :)
i still can't feel any eggs, but i'm hoping some are in there. what do veileds look like when they are calcifying eggs?
ya hes my little poroto mountain 3 horned chameleon :D
they are hard to find. but AJA on here just got a female so we're gonna make babies together ;) hahaha
