I've got some stick lattice that I cut up and that was a little bit of a hassle to keep it from falling apart. It's just kind of wedged in there. But it was able to cover 2.5 sides, which is perfect.

It's been a little while since I updated, but he's still doing great and has grown quite a bit, but still has quite a bit to go. Crazy to see his yellow pajamas and then the bright green when he wakes up.
Looks like the solid answer is "no".
The answer I got was "Booth suggests that they are at least distasteful to some lizards, and the aposematic colouring likely serves as a warning."
Based on the relevant quote "Results of predation tests with two species of captive lizards from two locations...
He's still doing great and growing fast now. His color is starting to come in and I think he's going to be a true skittle. I'm seeing some yellow and reds and greens and hints of blues. I threw some grasshoppers I caught he basically ran to them.
I'm currently in a dangerous phase where I want to collect all the different types of potential feeders. It's a good thing it's winter, or I'd have a cage full of random porch-light moths in my living room. Anyways -
On Bug Guide's "Rearing Wild Insects" forum there's a recent one for Raising...
Another photo dump. The earlier pics are a few weeks old, the newer ones from just now. I'm not sure if he's on the small side. He's 3 and a half months old and 6.5 grams. But I'd like to think he's growing well, and his weight is following that curve still. He likes bugs, (crickets, dubia, and...
If you don't wash your plants, especially home depot ones, you will find a variety of pests including fungus gnats, scale, small millipedes, slugs, worms, and snails, and others.
Not as many pics as I wish, but he is getting some colors and is still very tiny. He did his second shed (that I've noticed) a couple weeks ago. Also here's a weight graph I'll continue to update., not very useful to others as a sample size of 1, but still neat.
Here's another batch. He's a little less than 2 months old now.
I'd like to think he is growing well. His spikes are becoming spiky, and his tongue is getting longer. I think I even saw some disappointment when he outgrew the small space between the umbrella plant leaves and had to climb over...
Going to use this thread to dump a bunch of photos of this little guy here. Hatched 9/22/22 from a bought egg.
Other threads with pics.

I don't know if the tech is there for any reasonable cost yet, but it will be interesting when genetic testing can be used to almost accurately predict color. It would be a great example of gene expression research and a wonderful tool for breeders.
Only cause there's a little bit of colors, I'm probably be wrong though lol
Didn't realize a female could get her colors that fast, and now I'm back to thinking it's a girl, mostly because of a lack of clear male indicators and the colors I did see match some other random baby girl I found...
I got it in April from Chameleons101 as a 4am impulse buy, via the (not currently displayed): sire Mad Hatter was laid back in February. A childhood dream got renewed after I visited a local reptile show, and a few weeks later after doing some research all that night, realized it was much...
This is Tanooki Mario. He is my first chameleon and hatched on 9/21/2022 from a bought egg.
He is a panther male (I'm pretty sure at least) and has a heavily planted 24x24x48 cage all to himself.
(I actually introduced him in an earlier thread, but wanted it to be more about that topic.)
He...
