    I do not do females, however I have witnessed my friend lightly spraying with warm water to remove the vermiculite and then put them in their bins. some have said wait a day or two to feed, others have fed right away. Sorry, didn't see a page 2, I'm sure someone has already helped you with this

    Any hood will do I have silver 4 ft fixtures from home depot for 20.00 Suzi has black ones As well. Plus the dual fixture allows you to add a second bulb. Like a 6500k grow light, more light, plants grow too :) Anne

    Getting him outside is a great thing to do, so as karma said, don't grab, go under and slide down. Its natural for them to keep moving if movement is felt. Then watch him smile outside!

    there are arcadia bulbs, they last longer and have a longer uv life. Very few bulbs are made specifically for uv output. I am going to go look at tanning bulbs, but i think they will be much too intense for any type of reptile tanning bulbs are available, I tried to calculate hours and cost...
