Handling of chameleon.

Now, i'm not exactly trying to take him out and make him play with me.
But the weather's really nice here and he has a lovely little tree outside he can climb around and enjoy the sunshine in.
Also, my family is moving in a month or so, and he'll unfortunately have to be moved as well.

What is the best way to go about this?
I don't feel wrapping my hand around him and picking him up like he's a kitty is going to bode well for me, or him.
He doesn't feel shy about taking food right from my hands, but he's also not eager to just climb up onto them.

Getting him outside is a great thing to do, so as karma said, don't grab, go under and slide down. Its natural for them to keep moving if movement is felt.
Then watch him smile outside!

Yeah, i figured he wouldn't like that much. What if he gets all puffy at me?
He's never really tried to bite me, or even hiss - but I just don't wanna make him angry.

Well I had been bitten and realized it wasn't that bad, I just didn't show fear, slowly worked my way up to holding him and taking him outside. He's a sweetheart once he's out. Nowadays he's fine even being taken out.

What happens if i manage to get him outside okay, but then he doesn't want to come back in?
