    Pooping eggs

Here’s my blog on laying. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/veiled-chameleon-laying-101.2488/ The information is applicable for panther girls too. Her lay bin looks a bit too small…they do like space to choose just the right spot in the bin. I feel that at least a 12x12” is minimum size for...

Are these plants safe for my chameleon??

I just gave you a reply in your other post. :) Regarding the middle one, it is indeed a jade plant, which goes by so many other names which include money plant. It is not to be confused with fused with a money tree though. You have a type of crassula, while money tree is a pachira.

    First bioactive set up

The first is a succulent…a jade plant maybe? While it is safe, it won’t last long…succulents need it much dryer. The last is indeed a spider plant. Some have white, some don’t. The purple is a type of tradescantia. Tradescantia zebrina is definitely safe and this one should be safe as well. I...

Littlefoot & Mr. Jack photo dumps

That’s quite a belly she’s got. Hopefully she won’t have a huge clutch. It is nerve-wracking and we can’t help but be anxious for our girls. Generally though, as long as she has proper husbandry, she should do fine. Give her privacy. You’ll know she’s all done when she’s returned to her basking...

    First bioactive set up

Hi. It really doesn’t take too terribly long to set up. Make certain you have enough of everything needed and a plan. You can put your chameleon in a small box while doing the set up…he will go to sleep in the dark. When I had a more intensive set up to do, I actually did it at night so my guy...

    Black spot on nose

My guess is that it is either bug guts or a bruise/injury. Try wiping it off with a dampened q tip gently.

    Not eating and taking naps.

The 10.0 uvb is too strong, but I’m not going to get into that right now as I don’t see that as the cause of your current problem. Has your chameleon ever been tested for parasites? I agree with @kinyonga that a vet visit is needed and sooner rather than later. Here are the questions to review...

Can somebody help me with this?

It’s been a while since I did it. Go to the top tab of Species and click the desired species, which is Chameleo. Then find Chameleo Calyptratus Calyptratus and click. Below the pic, click Experience. Scroll down to the very bottom and click Add my experience.

Which UVB bulb is the best for Chameleons?

I’m a fan of Arcadia since hearing that they are good for a year and ReptiSun is good for only 6 months. It has been said since that ReptiSun has improved and also lasts a year, but I haven’t bought one to check it for myself. Arcadia has proven itself to actually last more than a year for me...

    Show me your feeding dishes!!

I love my Shooting Gallery feeding station. https://tkchameleons.com/products/shooting-gallery?variant=30018608595032 For a couple of my guys, I made my own version of it using plastic food trays from various sources (like frozen dinners or cat food bowl). While some feeder insects can wriggle...

How do I take care of this

I use veterinary disinfectants, like F 10. For general use, I use it at a dilution strength of 1:500. If I know there’s something nasty I’ll dilute at 1:250 or even 1:100. I let it sit for about 30 minutes and then rinse. I believe some use steam cleaning.

    New Enclosure Stress

I agree to give him time to adjust. Stepping onto your hair - he’s probably just checking out the strange tree top that’s moving around in front of him. It does indicate he has trust in you.
