so the bottom of your cage is open......and just sits in the pan....i like that....very easy for cleaning......is the drain necessary.....i mean will there be that much water draining out??
i just called lowes and home depot, and they gave me a really nice flooring idea, and that is the pan that goes under the washing machine.....lowes' is about 31 x 29 and h.d. is 32" squared.....both about $20, and have 2 different locations to cut for draining....i think that will work out real...
good stuff.....i like hearing that, I just looked up on the web how much that pvc, and polythylem board are, and they are definitely not cheap......im going to stay with the wood then....I'm gettin closer to finishing up my ideas...
I went out today and looked around at some stuff....where can i find that corrugated plastic to use? I went to home depot and lowes and they don't carry it......also.....is that over board.....if i just build it out of sanded wood walls, would that be sufficient.....they won't get moldy, soft...
I have 3 turtles a couple inches in length, 1 that is about 4 1/2 and one that is 6.......what is everyone's opinion on when i can put them together.....i have always heard 4 inches b/c of the salmonela .....my other 2 act fine together and they are a couple inches different
how much would it cost to run a set up like you have....i don't know your dimensions, but i am looking to build around 16" x 24" x 48" with a little cabinet on the bottom......
did you use wood and just paint it white....or did you use another material? I live in Ohio where it is really dry in the winter time and okay in the summer....so that kind of a set up would be a good idea for me??
that expanded pvc board was on that link you told me to go to brad.....chris' page where he was building his cage....ive never heard of that....do you know where I can get that at??
that would be great....i went to home depot....and looked up some materials that I would need....they had that pet screen there, but they also had a aluminum screen with holes about the same size.....i think i would like that better....it is brighter....someone told me the lighter it is the less...
I think the 36" X 24" X 48" sounds really good......what kind of screening do you use......i mean if i went to home depot....what would I ask them for....
See I talked to a breeder from Georgia and he said he keeps his veilds paired up and the do just fine....one just hangs lower in the cage....but i read somewhere that panthers can be paired up.....but for sure never 2 of the same sex or they will fight
yes I have received a lot of helpful info from this site, that is for sure....I don't know what I want.....the panthers' markings are awesome and bright...but the veilds are a cooler color and not so bright....or not as bright as the panther...
can you house 2 panthers m and f in the same cage......can you house 2 veilds m and f in the same cage....(if plenty of room) or will they fight......i have read mixed articles on the as well
