Just a quick question till more experienced members chime in. Have tried online for feeders?
For example:
http://www.phoenixworm.com/ <--- way better than waxworms
https://www.rainbowmealworms.net/
http://www.lindasgonebuggie.com/
I've tried to use one in the past just for my own comfort because I would never see her drink although her urates looked fine and she wasn't having the strange thing coming to get her. :p
I suppose I'll try again.
She's not eating treats right now, or anything I offer up, when I offer it up. She's very, very, random about it. I try to keep her crickets, the only thing she'll eat when she feels like it at the moment, in a cup so I could keep count but there's the possibility that they jump out and hide...
So as some of you may know my girl is not eating very much these days. I'm still waiting for her to lay and hoping all returns to normal after. As a result getting her to take her Cal W/D3 and Vits has been impossible as I have no idea when and if she'll eat.
How can I get these in her...
I was surprised by my veiled recently. All on her own she decided she was going to crawl up arm as if saying: "take me somewhere, I want out". This after months of having her and never picking her up. I did start hand feeding her a few weeks before that though. That took some time to get done...
Just wanted to chime in and say too many wax worms. They're mostly fat. Think of them like a candy treat.
I'm not sure you need a Repti Sun Basking bulb and a 40 watt "heat bulb". Still, someone else should chime in on this. I use a plain 60 watt bulb for a 2x2x4 cage and it's plenty of heat...
You should only be using Wax Worms as a treat. Move to Crickets or Dubia ASAP and gutload them properly. You can also feed your veiled some fruits and veggies. Basically some of the stuff you gutload with. Phoenix Worms are pretty good as well...
Believe me the thought has crossed my mind many times. Honestly I would have chose a boy if it where up to me for my first Chameleon. That said, I do love her. She was a gift, I had no idea I was getting her and no idea how to take care of a Chameleon at all. I'm so glad this forum exist.
That would be something, laying a little over a week after gravid. Does that happen?
I have her laying bin set up either way. It's basically the entire bottom of the enclosure almost (22 x 16) ten inches deep with a play sand/organic soil mixture because she was eating the plain play sand.

There they are. You can see, what we assumed, is a little sand in there too. She did eat some and hasn't gone yet since.
Update: Chloe went to the vet today. The Doc had an X-ray done and she does have eggs but he says she has another 3-4 weeks to lay. I wasn't able to get a fecal because she hasn't gone for a couple days so I have to go back and do that. He says she doesn't look like that would be the case. That...
