OH GOSH!!!:eek: I would never feed my veiled that, I wouldn't be able to handle it!

I have a male, veiled too. I feed mine meal worms, I hold up a worm so that he can see it, until it moves, then I put it on a leaf next to him and then he gobbles it up.:D

How often do veiled chams shed??? (Mines 6 months and in the 3.5 months i have had him he has shed twice.)

He is a veiled and he is male. I took out a big umbrella plant (that took up almost the whole cage) so that there were only vines and sticks, for about a week. And once I put it back in, that's when he stopped eating.

About two days ago my cham refused to eat!!! I tried feeding him crickets and meal worms but he wouldn't take either of them. PLEASE HELP!!!:eek:

I don't really know if that's okay, but if your worried, the antennas come of super easy. You can just grab an antenna and it will pop right of.

I have a baby veiled. (male) Never goes outside in natural light. I use a UVB light and a heat light. I just started using this dust today. (not sure how much D3)

I got some Calcium dust. It says it has calcium and vitamin d3. When should I use it??? Here is a pic.

Every time I handle my chameleon I never see any ears. Do they have any? If they do then where are they???

I didn't poke a hole in mine. It just drips through the tiny holes. But it would probably work better if I poked a hole.

I have not gotten him any supplements yet, but I heard that if I feed the crickets red potato then that should be good. Is that true???

I have a male veiled chameleon (5 months old) and when I hold him he usually climbs to my shoulder and then gets really dark stripes on him. Does anyone know why he gets dark stripes???

No, your cage is not to big. I have a veiled cham (almost 5 months) and he loves his cage. It is also a screen 24" x 24" x 48" cage. As long as you have lots of plants and sticks.:)

Cool cham!!!:D My cham has back around his eyes too. So I think thats normal.:)
