Looks like MBD and vitamin A deficiency. His jaw is screwed up and his legs looks bad. The MBD could be due to lack of calcium/Vitamin D3 but vitamin A deficiency will present with similar findings. I recommend a vet visit.
Unfortunately neither statement is supported in the references. Keep up the good work posting though. I have a large section of PDFs on my hard drive thanks to you.
If the vet is calling it a wart then it may be papillomavirus. Hopefully the removal cured him but I would still be vigilant. Watch for recurrences. And I would wash hands between holding animals if you have more than one.
Absolutely stunning, Jan. Next time you're in there with a camera it would be fun for us mere mortals if you put a hand or a ruler to give us a better idea of size. Your pictures are always as good as the animals you keep. Well done.
That is encouraging. Many of these stories don't end well. Its good to here when they do. Remember that this is going to be a long slow process. He will be fragile for many months so not much handling and be careful when you do. Let us know what the vet says.
I missed the three month old part. Its not usual to have eye problems so young. With a young one I would check lighting, heat and humidity. Is it actually swelling up or are you see it retract and protrude? A picture would help.
No, that's not normal but is a common problem. Currently no one knows for sure why this happens but the prevailing theory is lack of vitamin A causes changes in the tear ducts and tear glands. Other causes can include inflammation/infection, low humidity, heat/light problems or cancer. At home...

Unfortunately when dealing with a pet store you rarely ever get correct information. They don't know, they don't care, they want your cash. Its like getting computer advice from best buy.
China dolls sound a lot like ficus...drop their leaves when upset. The leaves will grow back like ficus. Here is a site with tips for cultivation: http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/china-doll/radermachera-sinica.htm
What calcium did you order? There are some liquid calcium for reptiles which is total garbage. Also he should be on higher than normal Vitamin D3. Vitamin A also contributes to bone health so you may want to use an all inclusive vitamin supplement like Repashy Miner-all. Outdoor sunlight...
The white at the nostrils is normal. Many reptiles have a salt gland that gets rid of excess salts. The puffing up and gaping mouth is a defense mechanism. She is afraid. She looks healthy.
If this is how he was sold then you were sold an extremely ill animal. With much care and proper veterinary treatment he may recover but he will never be 100%. It is definitely MBD. I would put a soft towel on the cage floor in case he falls. He will be fine until Monday. It takes a long time to...
They eat small lizards in the wild so it would be natural to feed them small anoles and geckos. They are a good source of vitamin A, protein and calcium. Yes they can carry more parasites so at the first sign of diarrhea a fecal check would be advisable.
I'd have one by now if I could decide. However my experience as a kid was with WC Chamaeleo. After being here a while, parson's is most majestic. Furcifer is crazy colorful. One favorite? What a silly question.
